PLAINVILLE – PARC’s 23rd Annual Helen & Danny Coughlin Walk is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21 at Norton Park, beginning with registration and festivities at 9 a.m. followed by opening ceremonies and the walk at 10 a.m. The event will also include a chili contest, music, gift baskets, and more. The walk is named in honor of a PARC founder and her son who was one of the first members. The event rain date is Sept. 28.

Since 1957, PARC, Inc., has advocated and protected the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by actively supporting full inclusion in the community. PARC nurtures confidence and self-esteem by fostering talents and social skills by providing a wide variety of programs including Camp Trumbull, Adult Life Skills, Healthy Living Activities and more. Through activities, PARC serves people from ages 8 to 80 from Plainville and nearby towns.
